Le Punch 48 est une nouveauté Habanos 2017. Conditionné dans une belle boîte de 10 cigares, le tirage à cru nous emmène vers des notes de foin et d’étable. Le tout est subtilement relevé par des touches de poivre.
Après un allumage aisé, les premières bouffées sont assez peu marquées, de légères touches de sous-bois accompagnent des accents plus marqués de cèdre. Le deuxième tiers réveille le caractère du cigare, qui voit désormais le cuir et le cèdre s’accompagner de notes de tourbes et de réglisse. Le final est très arrondi et bien équilibré dont la puissance reste parfaitement maîtrisée. Un véritable coup de cœur qui ravira les amateurs de Punch.
